How it all started

My body art career began during my time travelling in India.

Yeah yeah, I know how insufferable it sounds but stay with me..

While solo travelling, I became totally captivated by the art of henna. The beauty, the ritual, the way it turns skin into something sacred and expressive. With no formal training, just a deep curiosity (and a willingness to ask strangers if I could draw on them), I started teaching myself. I’d henna anyone who’d sit still long enough and even made a few friends along the way

When I returned home to Brighton in the summer, I plucked up the courage to set up a henna stall along the seafront. That little pop-up marked the beginning of my body art career. I fell in love with the buzz of meeting new people every day, creating something unique for each of them and seeing their excitement at my designs made me realise how powerful this kind of work can be—both for the person wearing it and the person creating it.

The following year, I found myself working on a body art stall on the UK festival circuit. At the time, I’d never picked up a face paint brush in my life. After being shown a few tricks I was thrown into the deep end. My first ever face painting shift? Glastonbury Festival.

I was instantly hooked. I discovered that I loved the pace, the creativity, the way people trusted me to turn their faces into living artwork. From there, my skills grew with every event, and I’ve been painting ever since.

Since then, I’ve expanded my offerings to include face painting, eco glitter, UV designs, and of course, henna. I now work across a huge range of events—from children’s parties to weddings, club nights to corporate events—and I still pop up along Brighton seafront in the summer when the weather and mood are right. I also take 1-to-1 bookings for people who want something special, just for them.

What I love most is being part of the moment—whether it's helping someone get glam for a night out, keeping kids entertained at a party, or making someone feel amazing in their own skin.

I’m here to make people feel good, feel seen, and wear something magical for a moment in time.

Thanks for being here - hope to paint you soon!
